Foto Friday Week 3
Las Vegas Children's and Family Photography: Foto Friday, Las Vegas Photography, Las Vegas Toddlers, My Beans, Photoshop | 1 Comment
Variation Edition:
I love taking photos and then playing with them in Photoshop to see what fun looks I can come up with. Sometimes they work and other times, not so much. A little editing can go a long way. Here is a photo of my daughter Shenzie straight out of the camera:

A little boost to color, contrast, some sharpening, a few eye edits and you get this:

Add a little Vintage Action and you get this:

Use the Gradient Tool to convert to black and white and now we have this:

As usual I’m biased since she is my daughter, but my oh my, isn’t she beautiful!!

The babies and I visited The Discovery Park at Aliante yesterday. They loved feeding and chasing after the ducks. Here are a couple of photos from our fun day using some new textures.

Still practicing with Actions. All of the following photos have Vintage or Urban Processing Action added, or a combination of them both. I’m really liking the results…what do you think?

I have been using Adobe Photoshop for years, but have barely scratched the surface of what it can do. I have a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng way to go and there will always be something to learn. I have been experimenting with Actions, Black and White Conversions, and Color. Here are a few examples of my newest experiments.
The top photo is the original with some minor retouching. Bump to Contrast and bump up in Curves The second photo has a Boost Action on it courtesy of The Pioneer Woman.

The next set is my old conversion to Black and White and my new conversion to Black and White.

And last but not least….my first try at Vintage.

While I was in San Diego last month I coerced beautiful, little Ayla to model for me. She was more than happy to pose for the camera. She has TONS of personality and it shows in every single picture. I added some fun filters on these two…the originals can be found here.
