!! <- See how excited I am!!! In two weeks I will be in WPPI heaven. Not only am I taking Master Classes from some of my very favorite photographers (Jose Villa, Alycia Alvarez, and Nicole Van Valkenburgh) I will also be attending some amazing Platform Classes as well (Jasmine Star, Audrey Woulard, Brianna Graham, and Elizabeth Messina)! Seriously, this is like Photographers Heaven. I’m excited to see all of the amazing trade show booths, meet some new people, and hang out with my sister. We will be staying at the MGM on Tuesday night to get a [really] early start for our Wednesday class.

Once again a HUGE thank you to my fabulous and utterly fantastic husband for supporting my dream and taking time away from work to stay home with the twinzies while I play the days away. I <3 you!

!!!!!! <- This excitement is for the Shoot Shop I'm taking with the Masters of the Universe, Nate and Jaclyn from The Image is Found. They will be hosting two Shoot Shops March 5th and 6th and are looking for two Couples to Model for them. Head over to their blog to read the details.

And last but not least a few more photos from my super fun session with Bethany and Paul!

I LOVE when I get to see newborns grow into babies and then little people. This is my third session with this handsome little man (well, fourth if you count when he was in his Mama’s belly) and he has grown so much since the last time I photographed him, isn’t he adorable!?!

He really wasn’t that into me or my camera (I’m finding this is the case a lot at this age), but with the help of Mama, Daddy, and Auntie we caught a few smiles.

Both of my kids have light eyes (blue and green) as do Jeff and I, so it is always fun to photograph the big brownzies eyes, and aren’t his just gorgeous!?!

Thank you again E&P for letting me photograph your beautiful family. I am oh so hopeful our next session will have Baby M laughing and smiling the day away (and I can’t wait to see your tomatoes)!!

Thank you all for your comments! I wish I could choose all of you for a free session, but of course that just isn’t possible.

So the winner as drawn by Shenzie is…………………….

BETHANY SCHILDER!!!

Congratulations Bethany! I can’t wait to see you and meet Paul. I will be in touch shortly to set the date and choose a location.

In honor of all of you love birds I am running the following special thru February 28th.

Too Much Cute Edition:

The cute is almost too much!!! An adorable four month old + one set of gorgeous parents + beautiful weather = perfect photo session! Only in Las Vegas in Mid January can you get away with wearing short sleeves at 10am in the morning!

I told you he was a cutie! On top of the cute, he was just happy as could be. He didn’t cry or fuss once (ok, well maybe once when his Mama tortured him with a hat). =)

The happy will karate kick you!

Awwwww, the lovebirds, so cute, so in love.

Thank you SO much Mama and Daddy S for letting me play with your adorable son and photograph your beautiful family, your gallery will be up shortly.

This little man is 7 months old and just too handsome for words. His big, beautiful, brown eyes and long lashes to go with them are simply gorgeous. Why do boys always get the to die for lashes?!?

He may be adorable, but don’t let him fool you, he really gave me a run for my money!!! He WOULD NOT smile for me. I’m not even joking when I say I pulled out all the tricks in my bag. Jangling keys - nope. Baby rattle - nope. Singing Elmo - nope. Fake laughing - nope. Real laughing - nope. Making up songs - nope. Every animal sound I could think of - nope. Bee buzzing, fake sneezing, and tickles - nope. On the bright side, he looks super cute with his serious face and at least he wasn’t crying!

Mom and Dad were working right along with me to get smiles…tickles, noises, laughs…nope. nope. nope.

And then Daddy worked some magic mojo and presto mundo - a smile!!!!

Thank you so much for letting me photograph your family. I am so sorry that you were subjected to my horrible singing and noise making. =)

Yes, I realize 2009 is only a few days back, so not that much of a blast. I’m trying to blog the rest of my 2009 sessions so I don’t get too far behind, this is the start of Blast Back to 2009 Week.

This adorable little girl happens to be my niece and the beautiful Mama is my much TALLER but younger sister. I have 3 little sisters who are all taller than me. How did that happen?!?!? 5′2 isn’t that short is it?

A little backstory. My sister is one of those animal lovers. You know the kind that pulls over on the freeway to rescue stray animals. She has forever banned me from having pets since I killed my fish, gave away my cat, and other tragedies that I won’t mention. Her dogs or bubba’s as they are fondly called are a real part of her family and as such had front place in her family photos. =) M loves her bubba’s as well, nothing can make her smile like her puppies (well, other than Mama and Daddy of course).

This little sequence was when Daddy returned from taking the puppies to the car. M was SO happy to see her Daddy again even though he had only been gone 5 minutes.

M is a notorious horder. By the end of the session she had all three of the lollipops that I had brought stashed where ever she could fit them.

My bee-u-tee-ful seester A and her oh so wonderful hubby.

Thanks Sissy, D, and M for a wonderful (and cold) session!!!
