A few weeks ago I got to meet the sweetest little kids. They were smiley, happy, and their eyes were so sparkly and shiny. Little A was such a honey, look at his beautiful eyes.

And big sister E was just as cute and sweet!!

Mama really wanted some naked booty pictures of baby and lucky for us he was happy as could be with no clothes on!!

Thank you Mama A for letting me photograph your family and beautiful children.

Baby Bump Edition:

Thank you so much Mama L for letting me photograph such a special, wonderful time. I can’t wait meet and photograph Baby [and of course see you and Daddy again]. =)

I have so many great things to be thankful for, but first and foremost is my wonderful, loving, happy, and healthy family.

<3

I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and remember all of the things you are thankful for.

has begun. Oh my! Where in the world does the time go. Some days feel SO long (especially when the twinzies are in crazy mode), but the weeks and months just keep speeding by at a pace that, at times, is a bit too fast. Don’t kill me for saying it, but my Christmas shopping is 95% done. I have a few last minute gifts for a Secret Santa and a few odds and ends, but other than that I am done!!! Now I know not everybody is crazy like me and started shopping months ago, so if you’re looking for last minute gift ideas I have the perfect gift for you!!!

Now husbands/significant others, listen up. I know you don’t really like to have your picture taken and I know you are uncomfortable with me and my camera all up in your face, but guess what?!?!!? Your wife will LOVE YOU if you surprised her with a Gift Certificate for custom photography. Seriously, LOVE YOU!

Lesley Barr Photography Gift Certificates are not only a great gift idea for Christmas, but also baby showers, wedding gifts, birthdays, or just because.

*Gift Certificates are sold in any amount and are customized for each client.

Kinda Spoiled…

but SUPER excited for March to get here. Every year I contemplate going to WPPI and then for some reason or other (namely two reasons, Shenzie and Heaten) I don’t end up going. This year however I bit the bullet and registered. A couple of days before registration opened I called my sister Kristy to see if she was in. She was a go so not only are we going to WPPI! we also registered for three Master Classes with the pros!!! We will be spending 2 hours each with Jose Villa, Nicole Van Valkenburgh, and Alycia Alvarez!!!! Holy smokes, talk about awesome! Not to mention all of the fabulous Platform Classes including one of my favorites, Jasmine Star!

As you can see I am quite jazzed about this event. =) Jeff will be taking some vacation days in order for me to go - HUGE THANK YOU to my fabulous and wonderful husband for being so supportive and fantabulous!

My brain is bursting with excitement already about the entire shebang and you would think it couldn’t get any better right? That’s what I thought too until my brain burst with too much happy. Nate and Jaclyn from the Image is Found are hosting a workshop while they are at WPPI and guess who is going?!?!?!!? Yep, me (and Kristy)!!!!! For over a year now I have been wanting to attend one of their workshops, but for many reasons have not. Not only are they AMAZING, they seem so fun and laid back that I know it will be fabulous and wonderful! Yippee Skippy!!!! Yeah Boi!!!! Hurrah Hurray!!!!

*Jump Jump Jump* And just igore how completely dorky I look…oh, and the fact I’m TOTALLY out of focus. Can you tell I don’t take many self portraits. =)

The Twinzies at Age Three Edition:

This fall when work got out of control busy I basically stopped taking pictures of my own kids which really makes me sad. Back in the day I used to take hundreds of photos of them each week (I’m not exaggerating, it was almost a sickness). Then I got busy and that all dramatically changed.

I am now making it a point to take out my camera daily (although I’ll be happy with every couple of days to be quite honest) to capture the silly, crazy, and funny moments. The time is going by so quickly and I want to remember each and every tiny little detail [like Shenzie talking and laughing with her baby bear].

On a side note, how cute is my new brown wicker chair!?!?! Too bad Shenzie and Heaten think it is theirs, it should be interesting the next time I need to take it for work. =)

Last weekend I had the HUGE honor of photographing these sweet little 3 week old twins. They were born a bit early so even at three weeks they were barely 6 pounds each.

When I arrived at the H home it was like I was thrown back in time to the nightmare, errrr, I mean fun days of having newborn twins. On the counter I saw their feeding/pee/poopoo schedule so you know who did what and when. The oversized pack and play with double boppy’s (a MUST for twins) and the line of bottles on the counter (mine looked like this). Oh my heavens, I was just reading back on my babies site to those way back when days and I am DYING laughing. Ok, enough Lesley reminiscing, on to the photos!!

In the photo above Little Miss A is on the top and Little Miss G is on the bottom. In the photo below Little Miss A is on the left and Little Miss G is on the right. Aren’t they just the sweetest, cutest little things you ever saw!!?!

Mama H, just know it DOES get easier and eventually you’ll be able to brush your teeth, shower, AND get dressed all in the same day. =)

Although I must say at three weeks I didn’t look a quarter as fabulous as Mama H. Isn’t she beautiful??!!? And those little blankets and hats were knitted for the babies by (I want to say Grandma, but now I don’t remember).

Photographing newborns is HARD work. Photographing twins is just insane. One baby finally gets to sleep and of course the other one is wide eyed and bushy tailed kicking the other in the head (just like when they were in Mama’s belly). Lucky for me I loved every single second of it and can’t wait to see these little honey’s again!

Thank you SO MUCH Mama and Daddy H for welcoming me into your home and letting me play with your oh so precious girls. I hope you love your photos as much as I do!

*A HUGE thank you to Kristen at Tot Blossoms for driving across the world (aka Las Vegas) to bring me these fabulous headbands and bows, I LOVE them!
