Ginger Kids Edition:

Is there anything cuter than little redheads with freckles?!!?!? I snapped these photos of my best friends kiddlings during our recent family vacation to California. Check back next week for a few photos of their new baby sister. She is a honey!

Unfortunately I can’t post photos from the rest of my Mini Sessions so here is the final Mini Post. This was another return client (oh how I love to see my clients again), so I was able to see how Baby E went from this:

To this beautiful little baby. Her new “thing” is sticking her tongue out so I’m amazed that we got any photos without the peeking tongue.=)

Thank you Mama C for allowing me to photograph your family. I can’t wait to see you guys again!!

When the G family pulled up I knew I was going to love our session. Not only is three year old K adorable beyond belief but her Mama and Daddy are gorgeous. Ummm, hello pretty family!

I loved their fun, colorful outfits. I really love family sessions with young children. It usually involves lots of playing, laughing, and fun and this one was no exception. Shoulder rides, piggy back rides, and swinging are always a hit!

I’m sure I look a little silly singing Elmo, Little Mermaid, and all of the other crazy things I do to get smiles…but when I get real smiles vs. the “say cheese” variety, it is totally worth it!

I hope when Shenzie’s hair finally grows longer it will look like Sweet K’s.

Of course I had to get one of Mama and Daddy alone. Love these photos. What can I say, I’m a sucker for love and can’t you just feel the love they share. [sigh]

Towards the end of our session Little K was a little over me and my camera. Mama really wanted to get some “girly” shots in her cute dress for Grandma. Luckily all girls love to spinny spinny in dresses so we got a few more shots out of her.

And one more of sweet, adorable K.

Thank you SO much Mama R and Daddy D for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family. I had a blast and I really hope you love your photos!

Business Notes

Las Vegas Children's and Family Photography: Business News, Las Vegas Photography | 1 Comment

Just a few business related notes:

¤ I am now booking into January. I have a few spots left so if you’re wanting photos with me in January don’t wait to book your session. As of January 1st some of my packages and pricing will change. Any session booked before then will get the current rates.

¤ Referral Program. Just a reminder to my clients that any referrals you send my way will earn you a $25 print credit upon completion of their session. There is no limit to print credits earned so refer away. =)

¤ If you haven’t signed up for my newsletter (on the left sidebar) hop to it and sign it already- what are you waiting for!?! As soon as the dust settles from my crazy holiday schedule and we make it thru Christmas, my birthday, and the New Year I have some giveaways planned and some promotions in the works. Those signed up for my newsletter will get first dibs so hop to it and sign it already. =)

¤ I set aside some time in December to completely update my Website and change a few things around. I’m excited for the changes, but dreading the work. Lucky for me I’m married to the best web designer/software engineer around so I can make as many changes as I want (and trust me, there are PLENTY) and he can’t fire me. =)

And because I can’t post without a photo here is one from a recent session.

When I saw this image I just had to edit it right away. It makes me smile and I LOVE it. Too bad they aren’t my kidlings, this would be a HUGE canvas on my wall!!! More to come from the awesome (and gorgeous) J Family.

Swaparoo Edition:

This year my sister and I swapped family photo sessions.

For her family we met at Calico Basin and oh my, how cute are they!?!?!

Beautiful Mama + Handsome Daddy

+ Gorgeous kids make my job easy peasy!

To see more of Kristy’s family and her take on our family photos visit her blog!!

All photos below taken by my awesome sister Kristy Milton Photography (processed by yours truly).

Because we are both so busy we made the deal to edit our own families photos so here is my take on our family. Of course I love me some color so I may have went a bit crazy, but I love the end result.

She photographed our family at the Art District which is a not so great part of town. She was scared to even get out of her car (probably with good reason). Poor Jeff was just shocked and appalled that I would bring our babies/kids to this location. I’ve been wanting to do our session down there for awhile so sorry Jeff, it was well worth it to me. =)

Love love love this photo!

Me and my hunka hunka.

Thank you Sissy for our first ever family photos. You did an awesome job and I lurve them!!

*As a side note, my butt is NOT that big and ugly, I blame the jeans and my sister does NOT have a double chin, I blame the photographer. =)

What can I even say about this little beauty except I want her. I SO do not want more kids, but OH MY HEAVENS, this little girl just tugs at my heart like no other.

I met little A when she was a teeny tiny little newborn. I loved her and her Mama from the very start. She is one of those women (who we hate to love) that just radiates happiness and joy.

Mama = Gorgeous

{Sigh} Mama J if you ever need a break just drop Baby A off to me. I can’t guarantee I won’t lock all the doors and not let you back in, but that is the risk you’re going to have to take. =)

Thank you SO MUCH J for letting me photograph your little Angel again. I can’t wait to see you both again!

Here is the first of my Mini Session Sneak Peeks. All of my Mini Sessions ended up being return clients which I love. I love to see my clients, but I love even more to see their children growing up. Remember when I said I had the best job in the whole world. Well, it continues to be true!!

I met Little M when she was still in her Mama’s belly (this remains my very favorite maternity photo).

I then had the honor of photographing her as a wee little newborn. She was adorable!!!

I don’t know how it is possible to get even cuter, but she did.

Her Daddy almost didn’t make it to the session and I’m SO glad he did. He could make Little M smile like nothin’. A little drum sound here, punch there and she was all smiles. Thank you Daddy for keeping your beautiful baby happy for me. =)

I don’t want to share too much and spoil their surprise when they get their CD so I’ll end here. Thank you so much J and J for letting me photograph your precious daughter and family.
