A LONG time ago I once made the mistake of asking a lady when she was due. Turns out she wasn’t pregnant. Oops! Can we say insert foot into mouth. I have never again made that mistake and with this session I went the opposite direction. When I met Little Baby H’s Mama I had no idea she was the Mama. Seriously, she didn’t even look like she had a baby just a week before. Can we say jealous!! Baby H is a beauty, just like her Mama!

I LOVED her little headband bows, so so cute.

And seriously!!??! How cute are the little painted pink toenails and bracelet. I believe her grandpa got her this bracelet. It is a little key. They key to his heart maybe? Her two older cousins had them as well, so adorable.

I even caught a little smile, check out the cute dimples. =)

Thank you so much Mama and Daddy for allowing me to photograph your precious, beautiful daughter.

Over the Rainbow Edition:

While driving home from San Diego we saw this amazing double rainbow. It was my very first double rainbow sighting and oh my, it was beautiful.

As a side note, I’m REALLY surprised these photos turned out. The first photo was taken leaned over my two sisters from the side window in the backseat while zooming down the highway. The second photo was taken as I was leaning over the drivers seat (trying not to get in the way of the driver which would be BAD) in a vehicle going 80 miles and hour while shooting through the rained on windshield.

Pretty In Pink Edition:

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this little beautiful one week old. She was a doll and her family was awesome! Here is a little sneak peek of whats to come next week when I get home from vacation.

What?! Vacation you say? Yes, I am skipping off to the beautiful beaches of San Diego for some much needed R and R. No crying, no yelling, no breaking up fights…just me, my wonderful Mom, and my awesome Sisters. Ahhhh, life is good. See you next week!!!

Choo Choo Train Edition:

Heaten LOVES this picture with the Choo Choo’s “Nose”. It is so cute when he yells out CHOO CHOO NOSE and then points to his own nose. Of course Heaten LOVED the train ride. Shenzie was a bit more sketchy (and by sketchy I mean scared and crying). Of course now that we’re not on it anymore she talks about it all the time and tells me she “loved” the ride too. =)

Meet Little Miss M, my recently turned two niece. How I love her so. Isn’t she a beauty!!?

I LOVE the blue pettiskirt with her bright blue eyes.

Little Miss M is quite the serious child as you can see in the photos above, but soon enough she was laughing and running and having a grand old time. That is, until the park ranger kicked us out. Oops. Busted. I swear, I’ve shot here MANY times and NEVER once read the boardwalk signs. Of course I saw them, I just never bothered to actually read them. Apparently you are NOT supposed to get off the boardwalk and frolic in the grass.

Oops. Frolic we did. I’m only glad we did our frolicking before getting busted by the PoPo. There is a tiny snail that only lives in this area that must be protected. Sorry snails, we trampled all over your grass and really, I don’t feel all that bad because the photos are beautiful. {sigh} I guess I won’t be leaving the boardwalk any time soon since I don’t want to get busted again.

Little M is fearless. She got splinters, scraped on the rock she tried to scale, dirty from throwing rocks and dirt everywhere, and still just kept on going. This little girl has ENERGY!!! Oh to be 2 again. =)

Thank you Sissy and MM for letting me play in the grasses with you - I’m so glad you love your photos as much as I do!!

My Beans at the park last week during a rare cool day (pretty much unheard of in Las Vegas in August). We took FULL advantage!

Let me just say that Little M is a VERY serious little girl. The fact that I got these shots is borderline amazing. And even more amazing is there are more where these came from! Check back next week for more of this little honey bunch.
