Family Fun Edition:

Photo sessions are serious business!

I mean it! No monkeying around!!!

They are NOT fun what so ever, don’t even think about laughing!!!

Ok ok, I give up. Maybe they are just a little fun. =)

You would think that chasing my two year old twins around daily would keep me in shape. Nope! I had a sneak peek this weekend as to what is coming in a couple of months. Tanner gave me a run for my money!! If his Mama could bottle his energy up and sell it she would be rich!! I don’t think he ever stopped. It is a sad affair indeed that the next day I woke up sore from chasing and bending and running and bending and all I know is this Mama needs to get to the gym!!!

Ok, enough me talk. Let’s talk about this gorgeous family. They all had the most amazing eyes that you ever saw. The kids were cute as could be and the parents, well I’ll let you judge for yourself.

Gorgeous, right?!?

Check out Tanner’s beautiful blues….

Aha. I tricked you!!! Here they are….

And his sister was the sweetest thing ever. Poor little honey was sick (as was the rest of the family), but that didn’t stop her from being as cute as could be!

Thank you Dena for letting me photograph your beautiful family. Your session will be done soon!!!

Foto Friday Week 1

Las Vegas Children's and Family Photography: Foto Friday, Las Vegas Photography, My Beans | 1 Comment

Over a year ago I started Foto Friday on the babies site (Barr Babies). Then I thought to myself - hey! this is a photography blog, why not have Foto Friday here as well. So that is how Foto Friday came to be here at the LBP Blog.

To start off our first Foto Friday I present to you, my TWO year olds. It is really, really, and I do mean REALLY hard to believe they are already two. Some days feel very long, but time is flying by. They are so much fun at two. They are exploding with personality (most of it wonderful minus the tantrums and abrupt mood swings). They are not my little babies anymore, but little running, talking, dancing, singing toddlers on their way to becoming little children. ::Sigh:: If only I could freeze time for a short while. Luckily I have taken thousands and thousands of photographs of them, so at least I have those to remind me of what’s past.

Here are some of the photos I took for their two year pictures.

Last week felt like I was running a marathon, and lucky for me I finished!!! I edited two full photo shoots in under a week (which might not sound like much, but with two year old twins under foot it is definitely a great accomplishment). Go me go!!

Here are a couple more favorites from the sessions:

Are you ready for even more cuteness! M&M were adorable, spunky, and fun!! I really got my exercise chasing Madeline around, luckily her brother Mason isn’t mobile yet so he was a piece of cake in comparison.

Seriously, these eyes kill me. Beautiful baby blues!

And even though Daddy didn’t want to really have the drama of family photos he still did awesome.

Mama you stressed over nothing, your family is beautiful!

Getting family pictures done is stressful enough. Add to that a semi sick toddler who is teething and had a rough week and the stress level goes through the roof! Ang was worried about their family photo shoot and getting good pictures of Marlee who moves a million miles an hour without stopping. While she did keep me hopping, running, skipping, bending, twisting, and crouching, I ended up with some wonderful shots of Miss Marlee and her Mommy and Daddy. I know I’m biased since she is my niece, but isn’t she gorgeous.

Doesn’t Mommy look beautiful too!?! I still don’t understand how my little sister is 6 inches taller than my 5′2″. Lucky duck!

All scrapped up!

I love doing storyboards and I love doing scrappy storyboards even more! Before having babies I loved to scrapbook and do artsy fartsy things. Time is very limited now, especially since the babies turned two and are having the Crazy Terrible Two’s Syndrome so I don’t get much time for scrapbooking or anything else for that matter! This was a nice change in the traditional storyboards I usually do.
