The other day while playing outside the babies found this praying mantis on the wall. I ran upstairs and grabbed my 100mm Macro lens to grab some shots.

After playing with the bug for a bit I found an even better subject. The Macro lens works great on portrait shots. I don’t notice how big my little girl is getting until I see shots like these. My beautiful, amazing, wonderful, little girl Shenzie.

Shenzie loves bugs. She DOES NOT get this from her Mama who is scared witless by them. She will pick them up and carry them around like they are her little friends. Bugs and snails and puppy dog tails are what little Shenzie’s are made of. =)

I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing little Miss Viviana along Mommy and Daddy: Patricia and Chaz before they move out of the country. Little Miss V was so much fun!! Her personality exploded right out of her and caught me in the heart. Can you believe the beauty in this family?!? Here are a few sneak peeks from our session:

I always have so much fun photographing Alexee and this session was no exception. She just had her fifth birthday so Auntie Kristy decided to do something special for her. The perfect pink tutu. I LOVE this tutu. I’ve been wanting to get it for Shenzie but settled for this one instead.
